“I have osteoarthritis and spinal stenosis which causes pain in my lower back radiating down my legs. I also have a torn rotator cuff. I have been working with Adriana of Boomers for Fitness over the last few months on strengthening and aligning my body, using the IMS principles, especially the 3-D breathing. This has greatly reduced my chronic pain and resulted in less need for medication.

When I started I could only walk 3 blocks, now I am able to walk 15 blocks and for longer periods of time.

Also, at the beginning I could barely lift my arm up to my waist. Now I can lift my arm right overhead. I am still working on my strength to being able to lift items from the top shelf of my cupboard.

“I’ve been working out with Adriana of Boomers for Fitness for more than 5 years. Initially I wanted to concentrate on my core and upper body, which is what we have been doing twice per week. My sessions began as in-person but since the pandemic we have switched to virtual, which I am finding just as effective. “I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME), Crohn’s and asthma. I have been unable to lift my left arm overhead for five (5) years and have chronic neck and shoulder pain. I started working with Adriana of Boomers for Fitness about three years ago.
