Meet The Team

Welcome, my name is Adriana Christopoulos,

I’m proud to be the founder and certified fitness professional behind Boomers for Fitness, where I’ve dedicated over two decades to enriching the lives of older adults through tailored health and wellness programs. While my journey began with a degree in architecture from the University of Waterloo, my passion for helping older adults achieve their fitness goals steered me towards the realm of health and wellness. Continuously seeking knowledge from leading experts in the field, I remain a perpetual student, committed to honing my skills and staying abreast of industry trends.

For me, empathy, compassion, and integrity aren’t just abstract values; they’re the guiding forces that shape every interaction I have with my clients. Understanding their unique challenges and aspirations allows me to craft customized programs tailored to their specific needs. Whether it’s enhancing mobility, managing chronic conditions such as osteoporosis, arthritis, MS, or Parkinson’s, or simply fostering overall well-being, I’m dedicated to delivering the right exercises to help my clients achieve their ultimate goals.

My approach is rooted in empowerment—I’m here to help you live your best life, whatever that may entail. Whether you dream of traveling the world, excelling in a sport, or finding joy in everyday activities with ease and comfort, I’m committed to helping you unlock your full potential.

Together, let’s embark on this journey towards better health and vitality. Welcome to Boomers for Fitness, where we’re not just focused on exercise; we’re focused on helping you thrive in every aspect of your life.

Certifications And Training

Jaqueline (Jackie) Murdoch

Jackie Headshot
Hi, my name is Jackie Murdoch and I am a certified personal trainer and older adult specialist. Fitness and wellness have always been my passion, and I love to share that passion with others.

I recently became certified with the Integrative Movement Institute as an Integrative Movement Specialist (IMI Foundations), and am certified with Osteoporosis Canada as a Bone Fit™ trainer. In addition, I’m a fitness and Nordic Pole Walking instructor. Fun fact: I earned my black belt in karate (Chito Ryu style) after the age of 50! I truly believe that anyone can do anything at any age if they set their mind to it.

In my spare time, I love travelling the globe with my husband and family. I also make sure to keep myself fit by weight training, practicing Tai Chi and Qigong, Urban Poling, biking, and stair climbing.

I like to challenge myself in all pursuits and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the health and outlook of my clients.
